“As Old as the Sea” Shows a ship in a bottle drifting between myth and memory. The focus rests on a small American flag stretched across the beam of a sail, the last trace of recognition before the vessel fades into obscurity. The shadows envelop the glass bottle, transforming the scene into a haunting vision of a ship lost to time; adrift on ghostly waters. Neither its maker nor its journey is known, yet it feels tethered to a forgotten chapter of American history; a relic of courage, uncertainty, and disappearance. The lighting amplifies the sense of loss and legend, as if the sea itself has reclaimed a story of a ship with a flag once proudly flown; now barely visible in the dark.
