This delicate tripod bowl featuring a crystal lattice design stands on three sculpted legs. The fragile nature of this object suggests it could have been used for decorative purposes. It could have also been used to hold jewelry or other goods of high value. While the precise origin and date of the object remains unknown, its Irish stamp on the bottom suggests that it was made during the early 1900s CE. This stamp suggests that it has Irish history and heritage associated with it. In Archives and Distinctive Collections, the bowl was kept with a luminous and pearl-like sphere. Were these pieces designed together? In direct light as shown in the photograph, the sphere shimmers, enhancing the bowl’s fragile and light-attracting, shiny design.
