Abstract
Father O'Callahan had a Navy ship named after him (a frigate) and when it was de-commissioned in San Diego in December 1988, Holy Cross held a simultaneous commemoration ceremony in St. Joseph Chapel. One of the Holy Cross speakers was Father O'Callahan's sister, a nun who had been a Japanese POW in the Philippines during WWII. This video predates the forming of the O'Callahan Society.
