Heroísma: Reimagining the Woman Leader and Heroine

Éowyn has written and will stage a play set in the underworld. The character Renata learns from Ismene (an ancient Greek priestess; sister of Antigone), Anacaona (a taína chieftess who plotted against the Spanish conquistadores), Camilla (a Volscian warrioress who fights the Trojans in the Aeneid) and Micaela Bastidas Puyucahua (a Quechua revolutionary who fought to end Spanish colonial rule in Peru).
