Description
This year, York, England has become my home away from home. One of the reasons why I love the city as much as I do is because it is a perfect collaboration of old and new. In this scene, you can see just that. The traditions of the city lie within York Minster, the second largest cathedral in northern Europe dating back to 1230 AD, and the city walls that were built by the Romans and the place from which this photo was taken. Although York has developed into a large and diverse city, it still maintains a rich heritage and history that contributed greatly to its current success.
