Description
This paper provides a comparative analysis in explaining why Russian President Vladimir Putin's receives unwavering support throughout his tenure especially in comparison to other world leaders. It discusses the forces behind the disparities between polling data from direct question surveys and list experiments. The paper also explains how Russia's recent military excursions impact Putin's national favorability ratings.
