The New England Province of the Society of Jesus Archives collections include administrative records and publications of the Province, Jamaica and Iraq foreign mission records, as well as personal papers and a collection of books authored by members of the former New England Province. There is also a large audiovisual collection of tapes, films, slides and photographs.
This digitized collection features several histories of the New England Jesuit Province and the yearbooks of two schools, Baghdad College and Al-Hikma University, administered by the Jesuits of the New England Province in Baghdad, Iraq. It also includes a history of these schools and the Jesuits in Baghdad, Jesuits by the Tigris, by Fr. Joseph MacDonnell, S.J.
In December 2014, The New England Province and the New York Province united to become the USA Northeast Province. In March 2016, the physical collections were moved from New England and are currently hosted by the Jesuit Archives: Central United States in St. Louis, Missouri. This digitized collection is hosted in CrossWorks, the institutional repository for the College of the Holy Cross.
