Abstract
This paper tries to define the position of the exiled Cuban community with regard to the return of Cuban properties expropriated by the Castro regime. Since the exiled community is made up of people from different socioeconomic backgrounds who have experienced life in several countries and possess a broad spectrum of beliefs, it will be difficult (but hopefully not impossible) to reach a consensus in such a controversial topic. There is, however, some benefit to trying to define a consensual position on a difficult issue, for it might help the exiled Cuban community to find common grounds on which to stand together and articulate a shared vision of what it wants in a post-Castro Cuba.
