Description
A scrapbook compiled by Arvilla Rank from Greenfield, Wisconsin. Rank was the first elected woman of the International Catholic Deaf Association (ICDA). The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, newsletters and other ephemera documenting Avrilla Ranks' involvement with the Catholic Deaf community and advocacy for disabled persons, primarily in Wisconsin. Materials are dated from 1957 to 1993 and are sourced from St. Norbert College, St. Norbert Times, DVR News, Wisconsin Department of Health and Social Services - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Wisconsin Association of the Deaf, Inc. newsletter, and the Catholic Herald.
