Description
Welcome to the Holy Cross Academic Conference 2007. Sponsored since 2001 by the Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of the College, the Conference this year will last for four days and include students from almost thirty programs and organizations in the performing and visual arts, social sciences, humanities, and physical sciences. The programs, projects, poster sessions, and performances announced here in the Program are the result of student work over one or two semesters under the guidance of Holy Cross faculty. Of course, this is only a small part of the independent and group-oriented work of our students, but in celebrating the work displayed in the Conference, we celebrate all that our students do, as well as the faculty mentors and teacher-scholars who make it possible. Every presentation in the Conference is the result of its author and faculty advisors’ creativity, hard work, and discipline, and together they provide a fitting conclusion to our academic year.
