Abstract

This pdf is an index to instances of the Ninth Division stories, veteran’s names, and pictures of the 39th, 47th, 60th , and associated units found in the Octofoil, the official newletter of the Ninth Division Association.

Comments

The Fourth Edition (Current) researched each name record to consolidate names from different forms (initials, aliases, nicknames,and name changes). All 111,364 name records were reviewed, and date of death and awards were added when available.

The Third Edition (24-May-2024) included edits to the first 52,000 of the total 106,165 records and added the on-line Excel binary workfile for end user download.

The Second Edition (23-Jul-2023) expanded the index from the original 39th Regiment to include all 9th Division units.

The First Edition (25-May-2021) indexed 39th Regiment Veterans.
