Abstract
The article is part of the work on media changes induced by digital technologies. He postulates that the offbeat editorial approaches of African pure players are part of an objective of legitimization and that the methods of digital writing integrate economic logics. The analysis of generic journalistic genres (flash, surveys, interviews), offbeat genres (satire, rapped newspaper) and digital genres (fact-checking , data journalism) shows that the fact of alternating formats results from an objective of legitimation, of a competitive game but also of capturing the audience. Ultimately, it makes it possible to grasp the editorial, identity and economic logics that surround the re-invention of genres.
