Description

Season 2, Episode 2 - Rev. Rick Nichols, S.J. '98, Hospital Chaplain

Since the College's founding, numerous alumni have answered the call to join the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) and add to its legacy. Their stories, and example, can inspire us all. In winter/spring 2021, the Office of Alumni Relations debuted Season 2 of its web series, "First Fridays With the Fathers," highlighting alumni Jesuits who are living representatives of the Society's traditions and identity. For the March 2021 edition, we spotlight Rev. Rick Nichols, S.J. '98, a chaplain at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and a former officer in the U.S. Navy. Fr. Nichols discusses his ministry during the pandemic, his Jesuit formation and the ways in which he finds hope in our world today.
